Eat The Sun (Yummm) - Get Outside (Daily)

You may wonder about this mantra! Casey Means, author of Good Energy states that our bodies are so dependent on sunlight and its affects on our metabolism that being creative and insistent on weaving sunlight into our daily remedies to nurture staying healthy is wise. Try these everyday habits:

  • Eat your meals sitting in the sun☀️. This will help increase vitamin D, improve digestion and metabolism and regulate your internal clock.

  • Jump start your day with coffee☕| tea🍵 | water💧 sitting on your porch/step or a park bench basically outside being exposed to morning light.

  • Savor foods that have been exposed to sunlight. Whether they are plants or animals that feed solely on vegetation, the energy we derive from these foods can be traced back to the sun.

The belief that the sun is harmful, causes cancer, and should be completely avoided is a misconception. Simply search online to understand why sunlight is essential for healthy aging.
