3 Poses For Fall

As we transition into "metal" energy, we suggest these 3 poses to help you let go of griefšŸ˜¶ā€šŸŒ«ļøand opening to what's real. Let this inspire your daily practice.

Side Bend opens the side body and releases 😟emotions while boosting energy and immunity.
From seated position, raise left arm to sky, and inhale as you bend towards right side. Exhale and slowly release arm. Repeat on other side.

FishĀ increases circulation of lymph, blood and qi, opens throat, chest and lungs, and creates space for organs.
Lying on your back, with props under shoulders, and blanket under head, focus on in and out breaths. Relax jaw, yawn or smile.

Sphinx opens the chest and shoulders, helping reverse the effects of hunching and strengthens the lower back while promoting softness and surrender🪷.
Lie down on your front, with your legs extended and the tops of your feet resting on the mat.
Arrange your shoulders over your elbows, placing your forearms parallel to each other on the mat.
Bring your shoulders back and down, away from your ears, while lengthening your neck. Inhale as you guide your breath towards your lower back and abdomen, creating space and lifting your chest. Practice for 3-6 in and out slow breaths. To come out of the pose, gently bring your elbows to the sides of your body and rest your forehead on your hands.

These poses compliment the rhythm and season of šŸ‚Fall and the impact of these changes to our body, mind and spirit. Balance comes not from resisting change, but from flowing with it. Fall invites us to let go, clear out and release what is no longer needed, the⚪color white, surrender which frees energy and helps us navigate the unknown.
