Practice of Silence = Good Energy

Rumi suggests "we let silence" be the healing art we practice. With so much stimulation (sound, technology, politics) most of it impacting our "good energy" therefore, creating a practice of silence is a "must-došŸ‘."

Several health benefits when we practice silence are listed below:

Self-awareness: Be present and notice how are you feeling in the moment physically and emotionally.

Reduces stress and anxiety: We allow our 🧠brain and vagus nerves to hit the reset button and be refreshed by stillness, breath and🤫silence.

Boosts šŸŽØcreativity: Quieting the mind helps calm and relax us and opens us to new ways of thinking.

Focus: Quiet is an important and gives us the ability to focus without background noise causing us to be unable to concentrate.

Jotting down your thoughts during your practice of silence asking yourself how your feeling (with no pressure) can be helpful too. Interestingly, practicing silence offers a sense of peace and helps us become present in the 🪷moment, recognizing that we're okay, perhaps more clear-headed and grounded, which enhances our mental health and well-being. Doing qigong brings out these same qualities - please join us in class.
