Our Story
Maryellen and I first crossed paths in her qigong class, shortly after she had retired from a career in hospital administration and began teaching again. I was seeking healing and curious about qigong. I had no idea what to expect but instantly fell in love with the practice. The gentle movement, tapping, visualization and self-massage had a profound effect in helping move stuck energy, leading to me experience immediate relief. Inspired to learn more, I explored other teachers, lineages, and trainings, but none resonated with me the way Maryellen's did. I joined her teacher training program, and with her guidance and support, I began leading my own classes, sharing my passion for this ancient healing art both in the Upper Valley and online.
I'm from Southern California, but now live amongst the trees in beautiful Vermont with my husband, our two teenage boys, giant dog, two cats and four chickens. Outside of teaching, and continuing to learn about qigong, I love spending time with my family, hiking, gardening, cooking, and creating.
Maryellen is enjoying retired life in a peaceful, lakeside New Hampshire neighborhood with her husband Larry and their sweet pets, Scarlett and Louie. She continues to lead qigong classes, both online and in person, has a Reiki practice and fills her time with reading, baking (of which my hungry teens are happy beneficiaries of), gardening, and her always creative ideas!

Our shared passion for uncovering the deepest truths about health and vitality - and helping others on that journey - has led to a beautiful collaboration. Together, we created Good Energy Qigong, and our friendship and work together continue to flourish. We are excited to see where this path leads and are so grateful to have you along for the ride!
Love,
Maryellen and Natalie
